8 Days after Columbine
April 28, 1999
Alberta--A bullied teenaged boy fatally shot one
student and wounded another in angst-ridden rage fuelled by the Columbine
massacre. Armed with 355 rounds of ammunition stuffed in
his khaki vest pockets and a semi-automatic rifle in hand, the 14 year old
burst through the doors of W.R. Myers high school and opened fire. A
homemade bomb was left behind on his bedroom dresser along with notebook
sketchings of dead bodies, devil symbols and a scribbled
note.
